HostGridPro is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

• Account data: Name, email, phone number, billing address.
• Payment data: Transaction references and amounts. We do not store full card numbers — payments are processed by PCI-compliant gateways.
• Usage data: IP addresses, server logs, bandwidth usage, support history.
• Cookies: Session cookies for authentication only. No third-party tracking cookies without consent.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provision, maintain and support your services.
• To send invoices and service notifications.
• To investigate abuse or security incidents.
• To comply with legal obligations under South African law.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with payment processors, domain registries as required for registrations, and law enforcement when legally required.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on servers physically located in South Africa (Teraco JB1 and CPT1 datacenters). We use encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords and strict access controls.

• Right to request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
• Right to object to processing for direct marketing.
• Right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 5 years for legal compliance. Server logs are retained for 90 days.
